We did it! We camped with Owen for the first time. We're not minimalist campers. We camp with running water and electricity and had a truck FULL of stuff, but we did all sleep in a tent! I wish I'd taken a picture of the inside of our tent because it was very thoroughly outfitted with cots, pack and play, folding rocking chair... everything we could need. We had a lot of rain and cooler weather over the weekend so Owen didn't really need his hat, but his pale bald head will need lots of protection from the sun.
So far, Owen's eyes are still a beautiful shade of blue. We'll see if they change.
I loved being at the river with family and friends. Owen got lots of love. Here are some great pictures of him relaxing with Nana.
