Loot from Santa! As soon as Owen saw the hockey nets and sticks, he insisted on playing "a period" of hockey before he even looked inside his stocking.
Cora very sweetly put Teddy to bed in her new doll bed. She had a very serious face all morning as she tried to figure out what was going on.
Cora got some new panties in her stocking to get her ready for potty training soon. She uses a toilet some, but is still in diapers. On Christmas morning, she wore her new striped purple panties over her diaper and PJs the whole rest of the day.
We gave both sets of grandparents a photo book gift. They oohed and aahed appropriately.
Christmas 2013 was all about the accessories. Owen sported his new shades after opening his new cowboy boots.

Cora's favorite necklace was the one that Aunt Kathy made for her. It has a magnetic clasp that she can put on and take off by herself and it's a big hit. Here she is wearing the special necklace at home a few days after Christmas.
