A year ago when Owen started daycare we were still swaddling him for sleep, he had just barely rolled over for the first time, and he was very much our little baby. Now he's more boy than baby. What a great year it's been!
This was the morning of his last day as a Duckling. He's wearing his class t-shirt with the hand prints of all of the other kids in his class.
Owen's school was closed Friday while the teachers transitioned classrooms for the new year so Owen spent the day with Opa and Nana. Apparently Owen refused to let Opa jam his foot into his too small shoes and he looked like a sausage squeezed into his old PJs. He seems to have outgrown everything at the same time so mom and I took him shopping on Saturday. And on Saturday night, Owen got a new haircut. What a big boy.
Hair before pics.
Haircut at Nana's salon. His thin blond hair was getting long and wispy around his face so mom just cleaned it up a little. Handsome boy.
