Blue Ridge, Georgia

In mid-November, we enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Blue Ridge, Georgia, with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle John, Aunt Molly, Logan, and Collin. We were celebrating Grandpa's 65th birthday and we had a wonderful time. We all stayed in a big, beautiful "cabin" in the mountains with an amazing view. It was a treat to have all three cousins together to play, eat, and sleep under one roof.

The first night we were together, Logan and Collin taught Owen how to climb up into chairs, which he hadn't been doing on his own before. Owen was pretty excited to have his cousins there to teach him new tricks.



This train takes passengers on a day trip that we thought would be too much for the boys so instead, we went to the station to watch the train come in. It was a pretty big hit, but the train whistle scared the pants off of Owen. Here are Grandma and Grandpa with the boys.


Staying in one house together meant lots of time for cuddles... and iPad / iPhone games.

Owen picked up a souvenir at the apple orchard we walked through. He carried his apple around all day.




Another highlight of the trip was the playground in town. Owen climbed up the steps and slid down the slide over and over and over and he laughed every time. It was so fun to watch.
