Easter at Opa and Nana's

We didn't talk up the Easter Bunny or an Easter egg hunt ahead of time, but Owen dove right in and then spent the next few weeks talking about and playing with his Easter eggs and his Easter "bakek."

Grandma and Grandpa sent some treats for Owen's Easter basket. Pink Peeps and the Easter Bunny were the biggest hits. He still carries the bunny around the house and asks for his Easter Bunny. He hasn't been much of a stuffed animal fan in the past, but I think the arrival of this Easter Bunny has changed his tune. He's usually carrying one of three stuffed animals around the house these days.




The Easter Bunny hid Owen's eggs in Opa and Nana's backyard and Owen loaded them into his basket. The eggs were filled with stickers and Play-Doh.







A rare family picture. We're dressed for a casual Easter on the farm, but I did put Owen in a collared shirt for the occasion.



We spent the whole afternoon outside. Owen spent hours playing with this toy fishing pole. He laughed every time he reeled the little rubber fish in and it skittered across the ground toward him.
