We went strawberry picking at Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls. This was a MUCH more pleasant experience than our pumpkin expedition in October. We were there on a Friday and it wasn't crowded at all. We had a picnic at a picnic table in the shade and then picked a ton of yummy strawberries. With a toddler picking crew, the quality control was lacking, but the boys all had a great time and made a total mess of themselves.
It was a pretty hot day and strawberry popscicles were a must. We had to strip Owen down before putting him in the car because his shorts and t-shirt were drenched with popscicle juice.
We also spent one night at Owen's Opa and Nana's house. We were there over a weekend when mom and dad were keeping Kate, Claire, and Charlee for Paula and Chad so we increased the adult to child ratio ever so slightly by showing up.
Here are the five bigger kids lined up at the bar for dinner after an afternoon at the river: Claire, Kate, Logan, Owen, and Collin. It was a treat to have cousins from both sides of our family together for the weekend.
Feeding the cows!
And a farewell family picture. We had a great time together! I really wish we could see each other more often.
