After mom and dad finally got 2 inches of rain a couple weeks ago, their yard really greened up and it was like playing in a park. Here is Owen watching the cows and learning to play horseshoes.
The weekend was full of swinging. Opa and Nana have some amazing swings for the kids (and adults). There are swings on the playscape and then there are two swings hung from really high tree branches. They're the best swings I've ever been on.
The kids like to do under doggy on the big swings and Paula convinced mom to try it too. This is awesome. :)
Cora did a lot of this.
It seems like just yesterday that Charlee was that small, but now she's quite an adventurous toddler. She is hilarious to watch run around.
Tom and Owen did some fishing in the river.
And eventually, Tom got a lot more help than he needed. He entertained the kids by giving them each part of a worm to hold and the kids loved it. "It's wiggly!"
We failed in our goal to get a cousin picture with the kids lined up by age at every visit, but here are a few almost there cousin pictures.
The kids played really well together and wore each other out. Bedtime meant lots of stories and time to recharge. It was a special weekend.
Awww, those are such great pics. I especially love the ones of the kids swinging and the last one of them reading with Opa. Makes me miss home. Wish we could have been there too.
