Halloween Trick-or-Treating

Our inspiration for Owen's costume as a rocker musician was twofold. One, he loves music and loves playing his guitar. And two, we sometimes spike his hair up after bath and he'd been getting a big kick out of it and talking a lot about his "spiky hair." I bought him this black motorcycle t-shirt, some fake tattoos, and some blue hair spray to give him a mohawk, and I sewed him a guitar trick-or-treat bag.

Here is Owen before school with a few tattoos (more to come later). Tom is trying to teach him to do the rock and roll hand sign here (conveniently also the UT hook 'em horns sign).






After school we trick-or-treated with Sevi again this year. Cora was a sweet baby bunny.




When it was time to head out, we couldn't convince Owen to spike and color his hair for trick-or-treating, but as soon as we were finished, he wanted blue hair. You can see the blue in the last couple pictures, but sadly, no mohawk.







On our way home, we saw our neighbors May and Lily trick-or-treating on our street so we jumped out and let Owen join them for a couple of houses. What a fun night!
