Cora - 17 months

Here is a brief update on Cora at 17 months.

Play: Cora is doing some pretend play with baby dolls. She likes to lay them down and cover them with a blanket. When Cora is in her crib at night, she covers her pink teddy bear with her small pink blankie and then lays down next to it.

Sleep: Cora goes to sleep very easily and sleeps 11-12 hours at night.  We say her bedtime is at 7pm, but she's often up a little later than that.

Talking: Cora is better at communicating with words than I am about recording her progress.  Here are a few of her newest words: uh oh, please (pees), down (do), Bobo (Owen says this all the time and now this is how she says "Owen"), no, baby, snack (na), duck, milk (muh), and lots of signs (more, please, milk, eat / hungry, wash hands).  Cora also still does a lot of grunting and pointing.  She knows what she wants!

Hand washing: Cora loves washing her hands. When she's hungry, she pushes the wooden step stool toward the sink so she can wash her hands to eat.
