Florida fun!

We spent a really nice, relaxing, and fun week in Florida with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle John, Aunt Molly, Logan, Collin, and Finley.  It was probably our best trip to Florida yet.  We had day after day to enjoy swimming in the pool and playing with family.  I hate how infrequent our visits are with Logan, Collin, and Finley, but the kids are sure fun together when we do get together!  I hope it won't be too long before they come visit us here in Austin!

Both kids loved the pool, especially Owen.  He wanted to spend every waking minute in the pool.  He would jump off the side and swim out to a grown-up and then swim back, climb out, and do it all over again.  His energy seemed boundless!

A fun visit to the park.  Owen wasn't feeling very social, but Cora had a great time with her cousins. 

Collin and Logan showed her the ropes and "helped" her on the slide.

Cora was really funny about Finley.  At first, she was mostly worried that Finley would try to steal her shoes, but after a few days, Cora warmed up to Finley and even LET HER PLAY WITH HER SHOES!  That is big time cousin love.

We loved our half day at Clearwater Beach!  Cora and Owen wanted to be the water the whole time and Cora refused to even put her feet down in the sand.

Random beach meet-up with Wendy and Greg who happened to be vacationing on the beach at the same time we were there.  When your family is as big as mine, you meet cousins everywhere!

Fun things I didn't get good pictures of: kids riding bikes and scooters, Owen watching his first live hockey game at Uncle John's game, boys playing battleship and wrestling, my lovely pedicure break with Molly, and many more.  This was a really great family Florida vacation and we've only scratched the surface of the fun Florida holds for our future trips.
